When I first read the title of this article had me smiling to myself and wondered. Never thought that was embraced, a word we often hear in a series of children, it is not only an expression of an affection but also contains health benefits as well.
How often do you hug a husband, boyfriend, brother or your best friend? Often, rarely or even never. Hmmm, it was important embraced lho. A study showed stress can be reduced only with each other. You do not believe it?
Based on research results issued by the journal Psychosomatic Medicine,
Warm hug can release oxytocin, a hormone associated with feelings of love and peace. These hormones will suppress stress hormones which originally lodged in the body.
To conduct this research, Dr Karen Grewen, researchers from the University of North Carolina collected 38 pairs in one place. Then they were asked to to talk about happy things they’ve ever experienced, they were also asked to watch a romantic movie for five minutes and then hugged for 20 seconds.
Before all the above activities carried out, Dr Karen assisted his colleagues to do the measurement of blood pressure, stress levels and the amount of the hormone oxytocin. Result, the level of stress all the observed decrease. Stress hormone, cortisol and norepinephrine, decreased in number since replaced by the hormone oxytocin. And the end result can contribute to your heart health.
The study also shows women are more responsive to hug her partner, it is because oxytocin is more closely related to the hormone estrogen is produced by women.
In real life the hormone oxytocin can be created in a healthy marriage. This means that the marriage is not marriage that often tinged bickering even violence.
“Not everyone has a happy marriage. But the quality of the marriage relationship can become a person’s health benchmarks,” explained Grewen,

“People, pets can increase the amount of hormone, oxytocin, and it’s certainly a positive thing.”
Thus, the arms do not always have to come from the couple. Create your still single, a hug with a friend or pet cat can reduce stress.
