A good shape is desired by both men and women. Thanks to the magazines, movies and commercials, the good shape always seems hard to obtain. That is when the myths and truths about how to lose weight and be in shape collided. Now, without the expert, the ordinary people like me can’t tell what is true and what is the myth in the ways of losing weight.
One of the most reliable and recommended ways of losing weight is by exercising. However, most people misinterpret the term exercise with going to the gym 3 times a day. No wonder, instead of getting in good shape, they got calf strain (an injury when you feel localized pain, and there is a discoloration and strange odors on your skin) and have to be in bed for days. The other injuries mostly happen to people who exercise too much and too hard are muscle tear (an injury happens as a result to overstretching) and pulled hamstring (an injury that cause you to feel pain when you stretch your muscle). Those three injuries mentioned are the injuries which are caused by stretching the muscle too much. Actually, you are doing exercise when you decide to take the stairs instead of elevator, or when you decide to wake up earlier and walk around a few blocks every morning.
